Such strategies rely on apparently neutral, personalized user experiences afforded by attractive interfaces. These interfaces obfuscate sophisticated business models embedded in endless pages of indecipherable code, all of which are activated by user labor. In turn, these strategies have a significant energy cost, part of which is involuntarily assumed by the user. To put it bluntly, the user is not just exploited by means of their free labor, but is also forced to assume the energy costs of such exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"633\" src=\"https:\/\/festival2023.rixc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/amazon_08.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2584\" srcset=\"https:\/\/festival2023.rixc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/amazon_08.jpg 950w, https:\/\/festival2023.rixc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/amazon_08-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/festival2023.rixc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/amazon_08-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Solo show at Aksioma. 26th of September &#8211; 15th of December 2020.
